What you can sell
Anything you can deliver to a customer by a date you set: software and memberships, food and drink, physical products, services and trades, and events. Each perk is a specific thing at a specific price with a fixed number of spots.
What you can’t sell
- Equity, shares, revenue shares, tokens or anything else that is an investment or security.
- Donations, pledges, tips or “support” with nothing specific promised in return. Earlybirdo is not crowdfunding.
- Raffles, lotteries, sweepstakes or anything decided by chance.
- Gift cards, store credit or other stored value.
- Anything on Stripe’s list of restricted or prohibited businesses, anything illegal, and anything that needs a licence you don’t hold.
What you promise customers
- An honest description and images of what you’re selling.
- A realistic estimated delivery date within 18 months, milestones customers can follow, and a support email that you answer.
- To tell customers before the date passes if it will move, and to refund anyone who doesn’t want to wait.
- To honour the refund policy you chose, and to refund any late order in full on request.
- If you charge at checkout, to deliver within 180 days. If you save cards, to charge only when the order is ready.
Fees
Identity check $1.50, once. Starter pack: $20 one-time, 3 campaigns. Growth: $60 /month, 20 campaigns a month. Unlimited: $100 /month, unlimited campaigns. Earlybirdo takes no commission on your sales; Stripe’s processing fees apply and are paid from your Stripe balance. Plans are billed by Stripe and can be cancelled any time from your dashboard.
Enforcement
We review reports and can pause or remove campaigns, refund customers from your account, and close accounts that break these rules. Disputes and refunds are debited from your Stripe balance.
